Mission Statement:
The Klein Football Booster Club's (KFBC) primary focus is to raise funds to compliment and augment the District's funding of our football program for one purpose...enhancing the high school football experience of our student athletes. The KFBC serves to support the traditions, pride and dedication of our Bearkat community, coaches, players and trainers. The Klein Football community works hard year-around to develop the skills, character, and heart required to be championship contenders. The KFBC provides financial and moral support to acheive these goals.
How You Can Help
To acheive these objectives, help from our parents and local businesses is key. Becoming a member is only the first highlight of the KFBC. Each year the KFBC hosts events around the community that raise funds and awareness. Some of the key events are the Annual Golf Tournament, Spring Game, Bearkat Spirit Sales, and Spring "Lift-a-thon". All the funds the KFBC rasies goes to supplement the budgets from KISD. Most of these funds go to purchase, replace and/or recondition:
• Weight Training Equipment
• 'State of the Art' Weight Training Platforms & associated Weights
• End zone cameras with telescopic lift
• Computer for weight room stats and new scouting program
• Helmets, shoulder pads, and knee braces
• "Wall of Honor" lifetime member plaques and profiles of distinguished Klein Alumni who have played at the next level
• Practice Field equipment...dummies, lineman chute & segment timer
• Storage Containers and Pads for the Freshman Practice Field
• Uniforms and jerseys
• Passing Machine for technique and special teams training
• Video recording equipment
*(Parental involvement, including financial donations, is naturally not a prerequisite to student participation in any Klein High School activity. Your decision to become a KFBC member is optional. Your support would be greatly appreciated.)
